WEDF General Fund
Donations to WEDF’s General Fund support the greatest needs of the district. When immediate needs arise, this fund helps us to respond quickly with financial support.
Athletics
Playing sports builds key life skills including teamwork, confidence, and strategies for health and wellness. Our athletes need to be safe on the field and look their best which means using up-to-date equipment and wearing high-quality uniforms.
Connected Kids Phase II: Connected Scholars
In Spring 2020, WEDF launched the Connected Kids Campaign to support Worcester Public Schools’ urgent goal of providing every student with a computer. With this need met in the fall of 2020, WEDF sought to assist seniors in preparing for the next phase of their education through computer scholarships.
Coats for Kids
For a child, a new winter coat can be so much more than just warmth. The Worcester Public Schools Coats for Kids Program provides new winter outerwear to children in need throughout the district including the Worcester Head Start Program, the Worcester Family Partnership Program and several area homeless shelters.
Mini-Grants for Teachers
The Mini Grants for Teachers program enhances teaching and learning in the Worcester Public Schools by granting teachers funds to turn innovative ideas into enriching educational experiences.
